The Saffa-Fest Schedule

Saffa-Fest 2027 is officially coming to Perth on Saturday, 6 March 2027, bringing the ultimate celebration of South African culture, music, and food to our local community. Whether you are a proud expat longing for a taste of home or a local looking to immerse yourself in an incredible cultural experience, this year's festival promises an unforgettable lineup of live entertainment, authentic food, and family-friendly activities.

To help you plan your day, here is the baseline schedule for how the festivities will unfold:

  • 10:00 AM – Gates Open & Morning Markets: The festival kicks off as the gates officially open. Grab a morning coffee or a traditional milk tart and explore our bustling market avenues featuring local artisans, crafts, and specialty South African products.
  • 11:30 - Hugh Lynn will be performing. (75min Show)
  • 11:30 AM – Food Stalls & Braai Zones Ignite: The fires are lit! Our dedicated food village opens fully, filling the air with the unmistakable aromas of sizzling boerewors, biltong,  and bunny chows. (Due to non-fire season, we cannot offer any fire-grilled services).
  • 1:00 PM – Mr Saffa: The main stage comes alive with Saffa-Faces. More information will follow in due time. Wear your best South-African attire at the event and join us on stage. Judges to crown the best attire added with a prize. (T's & C's apply). (Entry: $25.00, see ticketing page - Entries close 27 February 2027). There will also be Junior Categories.
  • 1:30 PM - Cordelia will be performing. (75min Show)
  • 3:30 PM- Eloff will be performing. (75min Show)
  • 5:00 PM – Ms. Saffa: The main stage comes alive with Saffa-Faces. More information will follow in due time. Wear your best South-African attire at the event and join us on stage. Judges to crown the best attire added with a prize. (T's & C's apply). (Entry: $25.00, see ticketing page - Entries close 27 February 2027). There
  • 5:30 PM Dirk van der Westhuizen will be performing. (75min Show)
  • 7:30 PM – Sunset Finale: Final entry into the festival permitted. The festival reaches its peak with a spectacular collaborative musical finale as the sun sets, wrapping up a beautiful day of community connection. Message of thanks given. Last drink and food purchases.
  • 8:00 PM – Event Concludes: Gates close.
